To maximize EAP utilization, we provide on-going publicity to management, employees and their family members. Our promotional activities are designed to familiarize employees with EAP services and encourage utilization.
Our employee orientation introduces employees to the EAP, explains reasons for using and methods of accessing the program. Our training also builds trust and encourages self-referrals in the early stages of problem development. EAP orientations are allowed to be recorded for future viewing, but we ask that any recorded copies be limited to entities with in the clients’ organization.
This training teaches supervisors the benefits of the EAP, how to identify an employee appropriate for referral to the EAP, and methods to effectively make the referral. Supervisory Trainings are also allowed to be recorded with same restrictions as EAP orientations.
Trainings and Brown Bag lunches are allowed to be recorded with the same rules as EAP orientations and Supervisory Trainings.
