Pneumonia can impact all of us. Especially during flu season. If you are 65 and older, or have health issues like diabetes or asthma, you are at a higher risk of getting bacterial pneumonia because of the flu!

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a common lung disease that makes it difficult to breath. It can make it hard for you to get enough oxygen and clear carbon dioxide from your lungs. Some causes of COPD are exposure to certain gases or fumes in the workplace, exposure to heavy amounts of second hand smoke or pollution, or if you are a smoker.
Cervical cancer starts in the lower part of the uterus (womb). There is a lot you can do to lower your chance of having this kind of cancer. Tests done by your doctor can find early changes that may lead to cancer or find the condition in the early stages.
With diabetes, you need a yearly dilated eye test or digital retinal image, even if you don’t wear glasses.
