All CommunityCare members will be mailed a new ID card in December. The new card will be effective Jan. 1, 2013, and you will need to use the new card as of that date.
Why is it important for you to use your new ID card starting Jan. 1?
CommunityCare uses a Pharmacy Benefit Manager to administer its prescription drug program for members. CommunityCare will be utilizing Catamaran, one of the nation's leading Pharmacy Benefit Managers, effective Jan. 1, 2013. This new card identifies Catamaran and allows you uninterrupted access to your current pharmacy benefits.
Please be sure to start using your new ID card Jan. 1. Contact Member Services at (918) 594-5242 or (800) 777-4890 if you do not receive your new card by Dec. 24 or have any questions.
